A practical conservation work party to help maintain a biodiverse green space for wildlife and people
We will be: cutting back scrub and trees where they are shading out grassland and to open up sheltered spots for wildlife; digging out brambles and ivy where they are encroaching onto rarer plants; cutting back gorse to encourage fresh regrowth and so there is always a range of stages of growth for insects; carrying the cuttings to the edge of the site for the Council to remove.3 GoodGymers have supported The Vanbrugh Volunteers with 2 tasks.
