Wen was founded in 1988 by pioneers of the environmental justice movement to offer a different way of thinking and acting on environmental issues.

Save the bees!

It rained and it poured and everyone who signed up turned up and helped. “Wow! What an absolute set of troopers”, thought Emma as she locked up her bike and zipped up her anorak.

The going was tough and it did feel a bit odd shoving pieces of paper about community climate action through people’s letter boxes, but the tough got going and we all ploughed on through the horrible weather and battled into unknown buildings.

In all seriousness, it was an honour helping out with leafleting for PACCT and WEN who are working hard to make a positive environmental impact, starting with grassroots and local communities.
