Michael and I arrived to be greeted by Widcombe Association volunteers.
Paul explained the task planned for today. We were to plant a large assortment of bulbs, completing covering the plot, and then wild seeds were going to be scattered on top.
Looking at the number of bulbs and the size of the plot, we were all a bit daunted by the scale of the task but we all put ‘petal to the metal’ and ‘floret’ and busily got digging and planting. About 2 hours later - a real test of our ‘Stamen’a - the job was done, once and ‘floral’.
