A lovely morning greeted 4 GGers at the glorious farm. Today we tackled the edges by some steps that seem to provide an excellent ecosystem for weed growth. With hoes, brushes and a spring in our step we cleared the borders, brushed up the detritis and composted what we could. Proper job✨️

Already humid by 8 this morning, four of us set about tidying up the gravel that should be in the play pit but that they like to throw outside.
Soil sieves were a bit of a game changer for sifting out the dirt/dust along with the weeds to chuck mainly gravel back in the pit.
Good luck to Jade with her weekend events and thinking of David and Helen at work tomorrow!

A lovely day greeted 4 GGers at the farm. This week we tackled the front area, clearing leaves and weeding around the edges. No kidding around as we made rapid progress. To end we had a goaty picture and departed for a coffee.

4 GGs met at our weekly farm task on a beautiful morning. This week we brushed and cleared weeds near to the wheel barrow zone. With a sieve we separated foliage and recycled the lovely soil that had accumulated in the cracks in the path. Then a treat to see the new geese who were a bit over eager to see us but we were able to gander them into the encloser with the help of the animal warden. A final gandering photo and we we took flight 🪿

2 GG ers met St the farm oasis this morning. Its so lovely yo see the farm in full bloom and the abundance all around. We cleared weeds in the beds, discovering wild strawberries underneath nets of bind weed. Also did some plant ID. We were minted by the plants already in our vocabulary and a good sniff of the mint varieties and a lemon balm was sinuslisciously delicious. Then after disposing of the weeds a caffeine intake was done with a joy of summer inthe air🌞

The farm was radiant in the morning sun and the task today was to continue weeding the edge near the stone pit. A satisfying task as looking back the weedy green verge was transformed into a clean border. I do love clean border. Weeds picked up and into the compost and off to put on Factor 50. Proper job🔥👍
