YEASTer! ๐ฅ
...questionable cracker jokes aside, six of us were thanked for our hard work, with Brixton Windmills second prize winner in the bake off competition - the cinnamon roll cake! Thank you Jean! ๐
When we left our earlier session setting up in the morning, we worried the weather would put off punters. But through a few chats with stallholders during pack up, we learnt it was busy! There were socially distanced queues. Fab!
We had some great help from some relatively new GG members too. A great turn out for a drizzly dark Sunday!

Catherine Crowther earned their community cape by completing their first community mission.
Catherine completed a community mission. Instead of watching TV or lying in bed, Catherine was out there making their community a better place to be. For making that choice they have earned the community cape.

Catherine Crowther has done their first good deed with GoodGym.
Catherine is a now a fully fledged GoodGym runner. They've just run to do good for the first time. They are out there making amazing things happen and getting fit at the same time.

This is exactly the kind of task GoodGym is great at - big jobs that would take one person ages. And it's also a bit of a workout.
Tonight's task was something a bit different. At Jubilee Primary School, there were loads of clay flowers on a wall in the playground. Some of them were a bit spiky though so Juan wanted them chiseled off so that they weren't so dangerous for the kids!
It felt a bit of a shame destroying the kids' hard work but it was pretty fun. We got into pairs of chiselers and collectors. The collectors sorted the bits into broken flowers and full flowers (which would be moved somewhere else).
While we were doing this, Dan wheelbarrowed a load of weeds into a bin and Juan bought out some painting equipment for us to go over where the flowers were.
After an hour we called it a day having painted one of the walls and removed all of the flowers.
NICE ONE GUYS ๐จ
Hopefully we'll be back in a few weeks to finish the painting and put up the flowers we didn't break...!
