We had a last minute change of task but it still an amazing evening.
Thanks to Rose for coming up with the idea and Beks for accommodating us.
20 of us (plus some extra locals) visited Wild Lakenham to help clear and cut back an overgrown public pathway.

Tonight 16 GoodGymer's ran 2km to the new Prescilla Bacon Lodge Hospice in Norwich.
This brand new facility is a dedicated hub for specialist palliative care, in a beautiful setting of landscaped gardens for use by patients and their families.
Louise led us round detailing the great work that is done by many volunteers, including our very own Katy who was also present when his majesty the King officially opened the centre earlier this year.
We were given the opportunity to take part in a bereavement activity remembering close relatives, animals or friends by using finger paints and sharing stories.
It will be great to return to help out with special events and fundraising activies in the future.

On a somewhat grey summer evening, 11 GoodGymers braved the clouds and ran and cycled to Burges Road in Mile X to continue working on the wonderful community garden.
Our main mission was to conquer a mountain of soil in a neighbouring plot. Equipped with shovels, wheelbarrows and rakes, the team worked diligently, rotating roles to move the soil into the garden and distribute it strategically to create the foundation of a lovely large raised bed at the heart of the garden.
In addition to team soil shifting, Jonathan focused on propagating strawberries and digging up invasive nettles. The team also moved large logs to clear the space where we uncovered a fabulous frog!
The mission was made even more special as we welcomed Liz to GoodGym and Stephen celebrated his 25th good deed!
An extraordinary display of teamwork and determination and a testament to what we can achieve in a short time 💪🏻

Liz earned their community cape by completing their first community mission.
Liz completed a community mission. Instead of watching TV or lying in bed, Liz was out there making their community a better place to be. For making that choice they have earned the community cape.
