**When Life Gives You Manure, Make… Well, Compost! 💩➡️🌱

What a night at Brixton Waterworks allotments! We had a plot twist (see what we did there? 🌿) with a late session change, but that just meant we got to meet the absolute legend that is Jane - who at just shy of 90 is still out there gardening when the sun goes down. Talk about growing old gracefully! 🌙👵💪

**The Leadership Shovelshuffle

With AA Yianny stuck crawling down the motorway (probably behind someone doing 20mph in a Fiat Panda), our superhero Fi stepped up to lead the troops. She really rose to the occasion - unlike Yianny’s speedometer! 🦸‍♀️🚗💨

**Getting Down and Dirty

The crew got stuck in with: ∙ 💪 Shovelling manure (proof that we’re not afraid of a crappy situation!) ∙ 🚜 Barrowing it about (wheely hard work!) ∙ 🍎 Apple picking for those nursing dodgy backs (the core of our operation) ∙ 🪓 Clearing Jane’s plot of chopped trees (we really branched out!)

**The Results

By the end, we’d shifted an enormous amount of green waste 🌲🌲🌲 - enough to make even the compost heap jealous!

Big thanks to Annick and Jane for having us. We had a growing good time! 🌱😄

Last chilly Sunday morning, 7 Goodgymmers helped out at junior parkrun. Extra kudos to Katie who managed to find us even though none of us had Goodgym t-shirts on!

This week we were off to Holy Trinity Church to help Nicole with our final festive fix-up of the year - and boy, did we move things along! 🎄

The Mission: Operation Party Prep 🎉

Our task? A classic case of shift-and-shuffle as we helped clear space under HT for this weekend's celebrations. We moved items into storage faster than you can say "Good-Gym-nastics!" 💪🏼

With boxes relocated and clutter conquered, the space was transformed from storage chaos to party paradise. Talk about a moving experience! 📦✨

But Wait, There's More! 🏃‍♂️💨

Now for the really important bit - we had somewhere to be, and fast! Our end of year social and quiz was calling, and we weren't about to miss out on our chance to show off our big brains alongside those big biceps. 🧠💪

Quiz Night Spectacular! 🎊🍾

Our lovely group gathered for an epic battle of the minds (and puns) featuring: - 5 quiz rounds mixing GoodGym trivia with general knowledge 🤓 - A mystery challenge round that had everyone scratching their heads - Plenty of not-so-serious shenanigans and creative chaos 😂

In the end, it was the Big Ballerz who took home the glory! 🏆 But as the old game show wisdom goes: "Everyone was a Winner!" (Especially when there's good company, great laughs, and possibly some festive treats involved) 😊
