3 Goodgymers met at 10.30 for our volunteering role at the Age Uk warehouse.
We were greeted by Abby, who was really grateful for the help, as they've been inundated with donations. Lindsay and Jimmy had been before, so we're able to start immediately with tagging, pricing, and hanging the garments on the rail with the correct size cube.
Stu quickly picked up what to do and worked in tandem with Lindsay. Before we knew it, we'd filled the rail with 99p clothes, ready for the shop floor.

Six Goodfymmers went to St Mathews House to wrap the kid's gifts ready for tomorrow's Santas Grotto event. A few boxed toys and a mountain of Cadbury selection boxes were waiting for us. Leese and Jimmy each cut their paper and wrapped their presents while a production line was set up with Lyndsy and Mohamed wrapping as fast as Nick and Samir could cut the rolls of paper. Cees from the centre looked after us well with drinks on arrival, mince oies and a tub of Roses chocolates. We all had a good time and wrapped the task up in two hours.

Goodgyms very own Santa Claus and five elves helped The Rotary Club of the Wreake Valley with their annual Santa sleigh collection tonight . Santa was soon ready on the sleigh, Christmas music playing and collecting buckets ready.
The procession made its way around the route attracting adults, children and even dogs !
Santa was in demand for photos and the Christmas spirt was definitely in the air.
Always lovely the help the local rotarians who donate the money raised to local charities. Ho,ho,ho!! Well done everyone
