14 GoodGymers met at the Community Farm Gardens in St Werburghs (with a small group running there and back together from Queen's Square) to weed, rake, mow and more after a very rainy few weeks left the gardens looking lovely and green but in need of taming!
A bucket was broken with the sheer weight of weeds at one point but Dave came to the rescue and fixed it whilst also coming up with a very cultural pun that went straight over my head (and then I forgot it) - so I used a far less original one to keep the bad pun tradition going...
Those who ran back to Queen Square also got to celebrate Mel's birthday with party rings and a cheeky pint (or two!)
Thanks for all your hard work everyone!

We had a lovely evening at the Redcatch community gardens and we climbed some steep ol' hills to get there (much more fun on the way back..weeeeeeeee!).
Our task was to shovel a big pile of earth from one place to another as the team at the gardens want to create more space for their event tent. We were happy for the sunshine and made great progress whilst trying to stay as quiet as possible due to a pilates class happening at the same time. We mostly succeeded until I fell in a trench and Clo screamed. Oops.
After a refreshing lemonade we were ready to leave and made quick work of the return journey all in agreement that it is great to be group running together again!

Full-on Bristol fun at the SouthVILLE Centre (always capitalised so as not to confuse with another of our destinations, the SouthBANK Centre) - sunshine, blue skies, friends, task and a balloon.
Sweeping, painting, Lego-tidying and top chat were awaiting Maya on her first GoodGym deed and more PPPs* taken - simply really warming inside and out, and the way of things to come. With more cake, obvs.
