Tower Hamlets Report written by Emma (She/they/them)
Seven GoodGym enthusiasts met with Kamal at the Tower Hamlets Community Transport hub to support Ocean Youth Connexions prepare for a busy season ahead.
Danya, Emma, Hedley, Lobo and Oliver travelled round the corner from Felix Project and joined Ilana and Megan with sweeping, raking and shovelling earth into manageable mounds… ready to be hefted round the corner to a large communal compost heap.
⭐️We heaped, we heaved, we laughed and got a lot done. Well done, Everyone!⭐️
We’ll be helping Kamal at the hub again on Thursday 30 January.

Megan completed a community mission. Instead of watching TV or lying in bed, Megan was out there making their community a better place to be. For making that choice they have earned the community cape.

Lambeth Report written by Emma (She/they/them)
Three GG’ers met at St Faith’s to help GROAD set-up ‘Open House’ on a particularly cold Sunday afternoon in North Dulwich.
Once the team had their instructions, many piles of books, toys and accessories (including a neoprene wet-suit), shoes and clothes were unpacked, sorted and arranged in an easy-to-access display for customers.
Dan proved to be a clothes rail fixing power-house and got calmly stuck-in with helping straight away.
This was Megan’s first GoodGym experience and I’m already looking forward to seeing her at more tasks and fun socials events soon. Welcome Megan!
