Vicki and I teamed up to rid Mr N's patio walls of pesky Ivy, while trying to retain as much as possible the pretty Passion flowers and fruit competing for space. We also emptied a few planters that were birthing grounds for yet more Ivy, so hopefully it'll be a while before it returns.
7 big bin liners later and the area was transformed and a very grateful Mr N can now look forward to spending the dregs of summer outside.

Wow! What a transformation - well done to you both!

Impressive!

Will create more space and prevent risk of injury if Mr N took this on himself

There were GoodGymers and milestones galore this evening for our visit to North End Baptist Church.
Congratulations to Abby on her 200th Good Deed (and cape-wearing efforts!) and to Katie on her 400th!
There was no divide-and-conquer this evening, with everyone taking on firstly the front garden and then back. Weeds were pulled, litter was picked and the area generally spruced up.
Plenty of caterpillar friends were made along the way, and the poo-enthusiasts of the group had fun differentiating between cat and fox dollops.
Deacon Catherine was very impressed with the team's efforts. Well done, everyone!
