Emmaus' warehouse will be a lot tidier or messier, depending on what they want us to do!

Not exactly tropical but bizarrely warm for February, we headed to our favourite cemetery to help with the Spring Cleaning.
We tackled a stretch of path we'd not weeded before, trying to fond the edges - one side a flower bed and the other a grassy knoll...
We were missing our specialist path finder but gingerly worked our way from the weedy path to uncharted territory, aware that someone had been a bit gungho last time and cleared the turf from a bit that should be grass - he made up for it by helping to move some of the path "weed" turf to the bald patch.
By the bright lights of our butterflies, a good few metres were soon cleared and and the dumpy sack of soil/weeds took three GoodGymmers to be dragged to the paved path.
After running back to workout and a stretch and chat, it was time for Liverpool vs Real Madrid (cue favourite football joke: did you hear the result of the Madrid derby? Real Madrid 2 - Surreal Madrid fish) but the leas said about the second half the better.
We're already looking forward to next time!

Vian Aziz has done their first good deed with GoodGym.
Vian is a now a fully fledged GoodGym runner. They've just run to do good for the first time. They are out there making amazing things happen and getting fit at the same time.

It was fabulous to see two new people signed up to our group run and even better that they came along to Queen Square and found us!
Elle was already sporting her GG t-shirt whilst Vian opted for the more incognito approach.
Soon the runners were setting off for a "longer" run around the harbour and across to Southville whilst the walking group beat them there, even with the bridge still being closed.
We don't know how anyone could have had something better things to do on Valentine's night during half term but we were up for painting and chatting and sweeping and chatting.
The posts were looking slick in charcoal black and the benches smooth chocolate brown by the time we were packing up for the run/scoot back to Queen Square and reminders galore that The Party is on Saturday!
