The rain never pours on GoodGym^ so inspite of a soggy day and a little drizzle as we warmed up, it was a fine evening for our tenacious 12 to run to Kenny.

Making good time up the hill we were soon at Kensington Adult Learning Centre and greeted by Suzanne. As well as being a fab organisation where we always have fun, one of our runners favourite things at KCLC is that they always greet us with donuts and sausage rolls. There were even vegan rolls tonight! As our Trainer it is probably my duty to point out that tonight's run almost certainly didn't amount to the number of calories in these treats but.... my team deserves treats ;)

Suz explained that we had a whole variety of tasks this evening, from fixing chairs to cleaning windows, lifting tables to putting up blinds, and securing wires. With the team scattered all over the building, I swear I worked hardest (for once!) running around the centre trying to keep an eye on all of them!

Highlights of the evening included Effie and Christine's creative blind fixing and Rowan and Pauline's Chuckle-brothers style table shifting adventures.

A big shout out and welcome back to Matthew who has been missed - great to have you back fella.

Huge kudos to Christine who joins the black t-shirt crew, clocking up her 50th good deed tonight - amazing work!

It took longer than expected to complete this random, pick'n mix assortment of tasks (and to eat those donuts) so we didn't have time for a fitness session. However, we added some extra weight to our return run with many of the team carrying baguettes in their back pockets!!!

Lots of fun and fantastic work team - well done.

Next week we're helping at the Unitarian Church for the first time, so let's get a big team there to show them what GoodGym is all about. Sign-up here.

P.S. Good luck to our Effie who is running her first Half Marathon on Sunday - you've got this!
