Another Wednesday and we were glad to see sunny skies after last week's session got called off due to weather. It was great to have Pippa join us for the first time - welcome Pippa!

Charlene, Chris, Rebecca, Pippa and I joined Julia who had some brand new scything blades (eek!) for us to use, including a super bramble cutting one. We got to work cutting back the sloped area where the upcoming grass cutter won't be able to get to.

Meanwhile, Chris and Charlene got their loppers out and worked to make the area safer by improving the line of sight and chopping back the canopy of some of the overhanging branches and bushes.

Great work all round! Northern Slopes is on hiatus next week but we will be back with more Wednesday evenings later in September!
