Monday 27th October
Report written by Amanda Ribeiro
All the volunteers are lovely and I was able to help with setting things up, serve coffees and help create a joyful positive atmosphere for all the guests. We then all had a lovely meal together and then cleaned up. I enjoyed it very much.
Here's a photo of Stefania serving this wholesome daal prepared with much love and care.
The Choir with No Name runs choirs and builds joyful singing communities with people impacted by homelessness and marginalisation, around the UK. There are currently choirs in London, Birmingham, Liverpool, Brighton (run in partnership with Brighton Housing Trust), Cardiff, Coventry and Sheffield. CWNN in Brighton meets on a Monday for a cuppa and a catch up, to then sing together for an hour and a half and have a hot meal cooked by volunteers.
