Well that was a workout and a half, up and down ladders with bows, baubles, angels and (fake) gingerbread people to ensure Christmas can happen again next year - all laid out to dry for packing away tomorrow.

52,000 visitors enjoyed Christmas at Tyntesfield, hopefully we can help even more enjoy it for 2020!

National Trust - Tyntesfield
Spectacular Victorian Gothic Revival house with gardens and parkland

A great place to enjoy the outdoors, mind, body and soul. Tyntesfield, just a stone’s throw away from Bristol, was not built as a bold and extravagant statement of wealth, power or politics. Its purpose was simple; to serve as a family home. Once hidden and inaccessible, the ordinary and extraordinary lives and possessions of four generations of the Gibbs family are ready for discovery. The garden and estate balance faded beauty and function with an abundance of nature; celebrated in ornate Gothic carvings that decorate the house. Flower filled terraces, an empty lake, woodland, champion trees and productive kitchen garden give further opportunities for exploration. With each season you will experience a new side to Tyntesfield as we open doors and change perspectives on this much loved family estate.
