This was an early start! North East London NHS trust's wellbeing team got in touch asking for volunteers to talk to their Cycle to Work day. I was representing multiple organisations - GoodGym, JoyRiders Britain (women's cycling) and Redbridge Cycling Campaign.

This was a lovely day so a number of us stood outside and greeted staff arriving or leaving the night shift. Most arrived by car. Two arrived by bike - unicorns! From the conversation there was actually a decent amount of interest and wanting to cycle to work but unsafe cycling infrastructure and lack of confidence were major blockers. The wellbeing team has collected a lot of useful resources and information that the staff were able to take away. Hopefully this will help some people to take that first step and get on their bike!

The photo is of Mark from RCC helping to check and repair NHS community bikes that were giving to the hospital for local visits (very underused...).
