Report written by Dave Mansfield
10 runners ran 2 km to help keep Tottenham Green beautiful.
Tonight's task was a bit of an improvised one as we could not get in contact with the organiser for our original mission.
But with a little calling around, to see who needed some Goodgymers, we got in contact with Laura who does a good job looking after the Tottenham Green Park area. We done a short run around the block (much to the surprise of new joiner Ife who was shocked to see the starting point at the end of the the run) before meeting with Laura who, at short notice and with dinner to attend, was ready with equipment for us to do some litter picking which involved a lot of cans and bottles which we recycled. It's an often quoted fact that the energy saved in recycling a single aluminium can can power a TV for 3 hours!
Sarah brought along some activity cards for our workout session which involved a lot of animal movements as well as sounds.
We then completed another quick run around the park, with some fartleks (Swedish speed play), before some stretches, and 100 high fives for Oisin's 100 good deed! Then some of us headed off for our monthly social of dinner drinks.
Run report thanks to Latoya
