An un-boo-lievable turnout this evening on what was the chilliest evening we've had since Goodgym Slough started. A warm welcome to Jagdeep who joined us on his first group run today ( he's the one who looks like Batman in the photo's)!

FUNNY BONES

I wasn't sure how halloweeny our Slough runners were going to be but they clearly have a sense of humerus ... when asked to do a scary lunge... the totally crept it real and gave us their loudest roars! Special shout out to Mattie and Allistair who have clearly been practising their scary voices for Wednesday!

After the warm up, we made our way to The Parvaaz Project, with Keira back marking and Jenni and Michelle leading the way. Thank you ladies...

We were warmly greeted by Alex the centre manager, who had three tasks that needed doing so we swiftly grouped into smaller teams to crack on with them - Boo-tiful

  • Jenni and the line painters
  • Kam and the rackers
  • Tim and the litter pickers

It was a dark task for sure this evening. Those security lights were on fire trying to keep up with the number of GourdGymers on the premises. You could even say we needed a skele-copter light !

Thirty minutes in and the lines had been marked out, the never ending leaves had been racked and the litter had all been skipped

Once again, a fangtastic job done by everyone!

Next weeks task is a leaflet drop for WWT.

Have a great week... Manjit
