To encourage new members, we set up a session with a run from York Acorn Running Club to the task, where a few of also met directly (mostly due to being a bit broken). This proved successful and a good group of old and new Acorn GoodGymmers showed up for a quick spot of leaf clearing.

Tracy declared us all mad for being out on such a cold night so late, but cheerfully handed out shovels and one big brush (which we temporarily lost behind a bin), and we set out to clean all the squishy wet leaves from the concrete section of path. Laura and Gareth also cleared and brushed the main pavement alongside the trail. Before too long we were all done, and those running trotted off back to Acorn, having had a different run experience to usual 🙂
