Early shift and Abigail who did her 1st mission at the Friday Hub last week was back to volunteer on the 1st shift. Abigail was on Tea/ Coffee duties and served cakes too until 1230 and then moved everything to the kitchen before the kitchen opened its doors to hungry guests. StephDucat was straight into the kitchen to assist Sabbah and his helpers Mary(two of them). Early shift meant prep for the 1pm service. Salt was in the air today : someone put salt in the sugar bowl so when Mary prepared Tea and coffee for the kitchen team, Steph was surprised by the salted coffee he was just handed 😱 ...Good thing as he was the 1st one to drink and avoided the others to have these. Mary was so sorry...not her fault : but then we enjoyed a proper Tea and coffee with sugar as she rinsed and restarted without salt 🤣🤣 Alot of chopping for the starter and main. Then beating the beef on the twisty shift as spaghetti was involved for the main course. Peeling of pears for the desserts too.

Steph saved the day by taking that coffee with a pinch of salt! 😂
