The Royal Liverpool University Hospital started an initiative called Tea at Three (T@3) where staff have a 15 minute break at 3am or 3pm and take the opportunity to talk about one positive thing. It is really great for team building and maintaining good spirits. GoodGymer Yan suggested that we could fire up our ovens and donate some homemade cakes to show them we care and so, GoodBakery was born!

Ruth and Edwin cooked up a storm including cookies, muffins and rocky roads. To make sure social distancing rules were followed, Eimear stepped in to deliver the goods.

Emma baked some vegan treats of brownies and flapjacks and delivered the haul by bike by multitasking alongside her GoodGym Rainbow Challenge training session.

As she doesn't live in Liverpool, Pauline instead picked up a few goodies and delivered them a team of local heros at Woodside Primary School, where staff have been working on a rota to keep the school open for vulnerable and key workers’ children.

Thanks everyone for your efforts, I’m sure they were much appreciated by these incredible key worker!
