On Friday evening, Jer answered the call for another volunteer. Laura and Jer arrived at Dolemeads Community Garden on a rainy Saturday morning. They were greeted by the most delightful and friendly group. Their task was hogging and tamping down so lots of shovelling and spreading ground material. There were 14 hippo bags. Laura had to leave after a couple of hours but Jer stayed on and saw it through to the end.
