19 amazing humans gathered at Flirt Cafe in the Triangle this evening....their mission:

MOVE A SHED LOAD OF STUFF!!!!

Our run this evening took us the short 2km route to Hope Housing where Mark was in need of a few extra hands....well 38 of them made short work of it all!!

The first thing the team had to do was clear an area of all the wood and junk on it to make way for a couple of sheds that needed to be moved out of the way. The gang used it's vast experience in chain work to shift it all.

Then with some guidance from Steffi the team lifted a shed and carried it over to its new location....then went back and got another...because that's how we roll!!

That was only the beginning...then we had to clear the way in the garage to be able to get to the plasterboard that needed to come out of storage to be used...soon another huge human chain was set up and in no time about 25 big sheets of plasterboard were outside in their new home!

55minutes of shifting stuff...4km run.....17 pairs of gloves....1 very happy Task Manager....19 amazing humans that have gotten active and helped their community!!! Well done everyone!!

Welcome on board Chris and Claire, super happy to have you with us. Hope you show off your GoodGym T-shirts to all your friends!!! And after a long break it was great having Molly back! Don't be a stranger!

This Saturday we're doing an easy 5km pier to pier and a beach clean. Meeting at Bournemouth Pier at 3pm. Then having a drink after. And next week we're doing a flyer drop in Boscombe!

See you all soon!!
