Tonight heralded another week of painting as 16 GoodGym runners ran to Foleshill Community Centre to support Feeding Coventry. We also welcomed John from Birmingham this week. On our way to the centre, we all enjoyed getting in some energetic reps by the Canal Basin. Well done everyone. We also enjoyed running through the streets of Foleshill, enjoying the sights and sounds as many people from the Sikh community were celebrating tonight. As we were familiar with the staff and task, we all got to work quickly, with groups painting furniture and shelving and others giving the toilets a paint too. Our runners enjoyed a quick samosa (or 2) before running back to Drapers. It has been fantastic to see the progress we have made over the weeks to this building and can’t wait to see it coming back to life for the local community very soon. There will be a Community Mission on the 30th November where GoodGym will return to help put the finishing touches on the project. Sign up here.
