Under the expert guidance of Avon Wildlife trust we spent a very satisfying lunch hour turning over squares of turf to create new wildflower meadows in front of the spectacular St Mary Redcliffe church. Having made fast work of that we planted a load of plug plants in a pre-dug area. Lots of hard physical labour and definitely no standing round eating biscuits at all.

Much better than a sandwich at your desk!
