2 Goodgymers arrived to help Emily to prep the hall for the Saturday night quiz at NEMCA. After admiring the newly laid floor, we carefully planned our attack on the space and then got stuck in. Tables and chairs were strategically positioned whilst the quiz mistress set up at the front and the sound check was completed.
Next was the question of which prizes should feature in the raffle and there was plenty to choose from. Paul dug out his inner artist creating the sign whilst Jade selected a bunch of suitable prizes and admired the bottles of wine ;)!
Adding a finishing touch, the newly printed banner, along with some Goodgym leaflets and we were on our way.
This task supported
NEMCA is expanding how we support families in the area through a range of new clubs, activities and events daytime, after school and at the weekend to keep our kids and families busy and active. We have a range of activities and groups that encourage intergenerational connections such as our newly launched community planting days, quiz nights and our evening with local voices events. We believe we can all learn from, support and inspire each other and grow together.
