Two GoodGymers Marie-Noëlle & Petra hosted a community foodbank stall outside of Waitrose in Surbiton, to collect food & other essentials items for their local foodbank DLAG.

We suggest an items list, shoppers add a little extra in their shopping basket and dropped it with us on their way out. Donations includes tinned fish, pulses, sauces, rice, cereals, biscuits, etc. GoodGymer Emily popped by to dropped some donations.

We had a great morning despite the freezing temperature, and thanks to the many generous donors, we collected a total of 9 boxes of food. This will make all the difference for these struggling lives!

Keeping our community fed, connected and supported

We are a local network of volunteers initially formed in response to the COVID-19 crisis and now permanent across Merton, Wandsworth and Kingston. We aim to help those in our local community to fight poverty and offer support. We provide food parcels, household goods, furniture and appliances. We also offer laptops through our Keep Kids Connected initiative for children who do not have access to online learning.
