Susan and I met up inside TRAID at 19:00 as it was time for a fashion season change as Winter is ending and Spring is just starting.
Rodrigo (store manager of TRAID Peckham) thanked us for coming as there were loads of clothes to unhang, hangers to pack up and shoes to match. He was expecting more of us, but we were only in two. Still, better four hands than none.
It was Susan's first good deed as she was intrigued to help out her local community which feels more fulfilling than her day job working in customer care for an airline company.
We systematically unhung the clothes for their hangers as the TRAID staff put the clothes in the big boxes. Towards the end of the hour, Susan was ushered over to help match shoes.
That's all until we're back early or mid June to take down the Spring collection and put up the Summer one.
Charity selling secondhand clothes, aiming to improve workers' lives in the global textile industry.
