4 of us (Helen, James and Val from Redbridge) met with Tamsin and Keirnan to help with two tasks: clear a plot of weeds & grass in readiness for Spring planting and also make a compost bin out of pallets. We made decent progress, put the world to rights, discussed the pros & cons of cycling to work (!) and then before we hung up our tools, Keirnan gave us a quick tutorial on how to construct our own compost bins and what to put in it to make our own rich black stuff! As usual we forgot to take before & after pics but hopefully these show a good time was had by all.
