Find out about GoodGym TaskForce
Report written by Natalie (she/her )
A super turn out tonight that proved the theory that many hands do indeed make light work.
The task was to tidy and clear a church garden that needed some love. There was cut grass to rake and bag, trees to trim, weeds to clear and litter to pick up.
A lap around the waterfront and along the canal proves the perfect way get that blood pumping and the gang ready for action.
And true to form, lovely GoodGymers of Ipswich showed they are far from scared of getting stuck in.
Great to see Christina for the first time (hi and thank you! ) and some lovely familiar faces. Natasha set the pace and led the charge along the canal whilst Lucy brought her usual spirit and smile. Clara was formidable with the clippers whilst Natasha was keen to learn more about the wood chipper!
In less than an hour the garden was transformed - safer and cleaner- and cake was eaten. An extra special treat for Natalie who got a sneaky peek up the church tower - all six ladders up. Vertigo central!
Thanks everyone for your time and energy.
