For this session we're going to meet at the task, so you'll need to make your own way there. We encourage you to walk, run, or cycle to do so!
📍 Meet Miriam, the task owner, at w3w: tilt.judges.gasp. Tabard Gardens Allotment. Opposite SE1 4DL. 5mins from Borough station. 7mins from London Bridge station.
🗓️ 6th June. 10am - 4pm. Lunch 12.30 - 1.30
Tabard Gardens Allotment’s next project, to build bug-friendly gabion seating, and extend our meadow area, will take place on the 6th June, 10-4pm. We are planning to create an area where our community can meet, learn, grow and relax, surrounded by nature. We will need some help bringing that vision to life. If you are available, and can help. Please get in touch. Any help will be greatly appreciated.
Task 1- digging 10cm to prep ground.
Task 2 - laying gravel and weed membrane.
Task 3 - Assembling gabion baskets and filling
Task 4 - rake grass to expand meadow.
What to bring: suitable shoes and gloves, latter can be provided. Tools: racks, forks, shovels and spades would be appreciated.

The charity BugLife is helping the community of growers at Tabard Gardens Allotments create a bug-friendly garden, which will support the B-Lines pollinator network. Volunteers laid the foundations of the garden in late 2024, and the next stage is to create the beds ready for Spring planting.
