About this session

Welcome to WWF x GoodGym’s Workout for Nature

Throughout April WWF and GoodGym are collaborating on hundreds of sessions to celebrate Earth Day. Each session will involve a Workout for Nature - a physical volunteering activity which will benefit local green spaces, and give your own wellbeing a boost. Simply sign up below and come along. No experience required!

It's Tuesday so it's a group run (and walk), meeting in (and returning to) Workout on Welsh Back - gloves are normally needed, you have been warned!

One of our task owners wants to start on a new (to is) green space that the Council no longer have time to maintain - perfect for us!

Changing facilities, lockers and loos are available at Workout Harbourside - bring your own padlock as Workout aren’t lending them anymore. Otherwise it’s just an er. And we’re allowed to meet up in Workout to head out just before 6.30 so an incentive to arrive by 6.20 in the warm!

We pop into ClubHaus at Workout for a drink after the run/walk - anything from a pot of tea to a pint of something local to a glass of water - so we can talk even more!

What to look out for

Make sure you've read our general guidelines for safety for taking part in a GoodGym session.

This is a GoodGym group run, with the option of walking too. You'll meet other GoodGymers at the start location and run or walk to the task together. If you're worried about any aspect of the session, contact your area activator Melanie Young (she/her) by email at melanie@goodgym.org.

Options are available to run between 3km and 5km in total.

Remember that we will be running or walking to and from the task, so you'll only be running or walking for half this distance in one go.
