Getting there

For this session we're going to meet at the task, so you'll need to make your own way there. We encourage you to walk, run, or cycle to do so!

    About this session

    Workout for Nature with WWF

This is our first task with No Plant Left Behind, a non profit dedicated to connecting people with nature!

GoodGym is joining the April volunteer day at St John's Kitchen Garden to help prepare an area of the garden for a new composting site and pergola.

    What will we be doing?

    • Clearing out the old compost and tool area,
    • Repairing the tool station,
    • Clearing space for a new pergola,
    • Preparing a new potting area.

The task owner is Amy Marsden: she will meet you with the community garden volunteers and brief you on the day's task. Tools will be provided but bring your own gardening gloves if you wish!

Access to the task is off New North Road, opposite St. John's Community Centre, N1 6TL (what3words///reds.shared.swift).

Our GoodGym session is from 10am to 12noon, but if you would like to stay, the volunteers will be there until 4pm.

Welcome to WWF x GoodGym’s Workout for Nature.

From 7th April WWF and GoodGym are collaborating on hundreds of sessions to celebrate Earth Day. Each session will involve a Workout for Nature - a physical volunteering activity which will benefit local green spaces, and give your own wellbeing a boost. Simply sign up below and come along. No experience required!

    What to look out for

Make sure you've read our general guidelines for safety for taking part in a GoodGym session.

This is a GoodGym community mission. When we're doing a community mission we make our own way to the task, so you can choose to walk, run, or cycle. Thinking of cycling - check out our FAQs

This session is organised by your Taskforce, a group of experienced GoodGym members in your area. They are not responsible for your safety. You should feel confident to participate in the session as it is described and you do so at your own risk.
