It was a big task for only 3 people. The area has been neglected for around 40 years and needs a lot of clearing. We managed to get a big chunk done before it started getting dark and rainy!

Clearing a strip of land from brumble: this is the first step to start a community garden open to everyone
We have been granted permission to do a community garden on a strip of land that has been abandoned for three decades. Our vision is to create a community garden open to everyone, where the youngest and eldest of our communities are specially welcomed. Please note that the land is privately owned and being rented to us, a community association independent from Melville Court.
