Myland Community Garden
The aim of the community garden project at Myland is to create a safe, welcoming outdoor space that can be used by the public as well as used by the local GP surgery for outdoor appointments and groups sessions. We aim to create a space that is inviting to people and wildlife, sustainable and easily maintainable. We hope to invite local groups, care homes, schools, GP patients etc to et involved and do whatever they can to help establish and keep the project up and running.

North Colchester PCN and Myland Community Council have a 10m by 10m plot of land which has been used as a community garden in the past. It is in disrepair and needs gutting. We need to cut back some live plants we want to keep, remove some dead plants, dig the area and basically create an almost blank slate.

They have been planning this since April, but struggling to get it going. They hope that some help from GoodGym will be the kick-start the project needs.

No expertise or equipment necessary.
