We got loads done today, with a good sized team of 5 GoodGymers focused on extending the path which was started last week.and clearing some more of the space which will become the Woodland Garden.

The paving team got their heads down on paving the path, whilst the ladies ( strange gender - based division of labour that....) were set the task of clearing the Woodland area of felled branches, leaf piles revealing more of the space, and umderplanting a large tree with daffodils and mini tulips 🌷

The guys were absolute stars, not stopping until a significant section of pathway stretched in front of them.

As were the "wimmins" including one who is half way through her pregnancy all having a go at planting in inhospitablly tough ground.

We're all anticipating the completion of the finished set of gardens in July, but for now, the team left with a sense of satisfaction and achievement. Well done, team, a pleasure, as always ! !

Excellent report Marcia, although you could have mentioned the ‘women’s work’ included wielding a large pick axe! Something this puny male paver would have struggled with. See you next week.
