Five GoodGymers rocked up at Thorlands. For Anna it was her first time at Thorlands after a few good deeds at Old Alleynian Rugby Club and a few more in Lewisham.

Lindy, Kaz and Nathan know Thorlands back to front, so after getting the tools from the Walled Garden and heading over to the Kitchen / Forest Garden, they wasted no time with getting on with the task.

We spent the next hour and a bit weeding and chopping back the bindweed - ensuring all the bindweed was put in the bin bag, bramble cut up in the white tonne bag and the rest composted.

The difference was very noticeable and lots of plants thrive in the summer. We will be back on Wednesday night for some more clearance. This time, the terrace and in front.
