24 Hackney GoodGymers pained, shifted and sanded at Core CIC.

With a chilly March wind in the air we needed to get warm quick! So we jogged into the playground on London Fields and had a playground style Simon says pulse raiser while being filmed by the charity Giving Tuesday who are doing a piece on GoodGym Legend Becky.

Heading off through the Hackney backstreets lead by Peter on our 3k route. Keeping it social and chatty welcoming the 5 GoodGym Newbies to the team.

Rounding the final corner to meet Danny at Core CIC, which is a crowd funded project to provide a community Hub and subsidised Osteopathy for local people.

Grabbing rollers, brushes, sandpaper and ladders we cracked on with all the jobs we could find over 2 floors in the 8000 square foot building. Working high and low we painted our way to success covering 5 huge walls top to toe in paint, preparing another 6 walls including 2 stairwells for painting next week.

Some big time pressure painting was going on on the ground floor with fear of death on any painting which touches the brand new wooden frames some very careful and precise painting going on!!

45 minutes of top work produced done great results and we will be even more organised and productive next week!!

We set back to base with Eva using her ninja navigation skills to lead the Sexy Crew 3k back to base while being chased down by Team Speedy spearheaded by Tom and Ben who dominated the 3k in 15 minutes!
