On our second visit to Mrs I, Miriam and I started off with a lovely cup of tea, in a couple of noteworthy mugs... one instructed us to 'Bee Amazing', whilst the other bore the face of Irish singing legend, Daniel O'Donnel... very inspiring 😁

We set to work with renewed determination and a brand new trimmer... and for about 20 minutes, the weeds succumbed to our combined efforts.

However, the task soon proved too much for our electrical friend, which began to overheat and give out a faint small of burning!

Returning to purely manual tools, we continued for another hour and a half until the whole garden had been cut back.

In the process, we managed to uncover a (rather muddy) path, of which we and Ms A ( friend & neighbour to Mrs I), had been completely unaware... after which I could no longer see the soles of my trainers (see photo).

We left the garden in a much more manageable, clearer, and safer condition but have been asked to return for a third visit... to tackle the front garden.
