Double dogooding happened tonight with 12 runners volunteering their time to spread the word for two great Ealing organisations. We had one brand new runner tonight in Miranda and it was also lovely to see Tim back at GoodGym after a busy few months had kept him away. A big welcome to them both!

Firstly we were notifying people of the road closure happening this weekend for The Ealing Half Marathon by flyering cars along the route and secondly we were flyering the nearby houses to let people know about the great local group Ealing 135. Both organisations do fantastic work for our local community in Ealing and it was great to be able to help them both out this evening!

With maps distributed we split ourselves into three smaller groups so we could cover all the areas we'd highlighted needed to be flyered and immediately there seemed to be some (friendly) intergroup competition as to who could cover their designated ground quickest! All the teams did a great job and we all met back at the meeting point within a few minutes of each other so it proved to be pretty evenly matched.

There were a few extra squats for the 'winners' though!

With everyone gathered and no-one getting lost (I love it when a plan comes together) we headed back to Haven Green for a quick fitness session before heading home. This week saw everyone working in pairs to do a mixture of sprints and exercises that focused on really working our legs, I think by the end of the session everyone could well and truly feel the burn!

Thank you to everyone for coming tonight and using your run to do something good!

Hope to see you again next time, you can sign up here now.

Happy Running!
