Poseidon may not of been smiling (as he’d hidden the beach) but the sun certainly was as GoodGym took a field trip to the seaside for a beach clean in Cromer along with Cathrine, Bek’s and David’s mini-gymers! Extra special kudos to Bill & Katy who biked all the way in from home...and Elizabeth and Bek for running...although it was from the car park!

Not checking the tide reports (my bad) did leave us with very little actual beach to clean, but it didn’t dampen our spirits (only our feet) as we set about litter picking around the promenade, gang ways, town and what little beach there was.

The very kind folk at the pier box office kindly looked after our bags and belongings as we separated into two groups to cover more ground.

Group A took the beach and gantries around the lifeboat museum and town and group B set off along the promenade to the cliff top car park where there was a goldmine of litter that Elizabeth was determined to clear!

There was a huge amount of goodwill and encouragement from both locals and tourists as we merrily worked our way along, it was a really lovely atmosphere to be in!

After meeting back at the pier and getting rid of our litter bounty, it was off to find chips, crab sandwiches and a cheeky dip in the sea for some....and a well deserved ice cream for Evie!
