After a number of warm Saturdays today it was a hat & coat weather to start with if you were Marshalling, but, it was good weather for walking/running this 5K, at least to start with. This week our own Goodgymer Kathryn was celebrating her birthday after last week’s hen run. 401 people made it out today, well done everyone.

It couldn't have been a more tranquil evening, as we visited Marlpit Community Gardens as the sun started to lower and the cattle grazing in the adjacent field.

We had a tough task on our hands as we started to make inroads to move a pile of bark to the other end of the gardens (about 200 metres away).

There were 7-8 wheelbarrows and it was a grueling task of shoveling the bark into the barrows and transporting them before unloading.

Liz discovered a Toad in the pile of bark, which was then safely transferred to the pond area.

Volunteering at Trek 24 for East Anglian Air Ambulance (EAAA) it ment an 06.00 start as I was on Registration. A sunny morning greeted 300 people on a 24km or 24 mile Trek from Reepham to Whitlaham Park
