SESSION ORGANISER
Find out about GoodGym TaskForce
18 day light drenched GoodGymers ran 6k to Core CIC to dominate a load of decorating tasks.
Starting of the session in day light was an amazing change and look forward to many more over the summer (maybe even a few warm runs).
Using the daylight to have a quick activation warm up on London Fields playing little follow the leader and feeding the legs a little conditioning.
The usual 3k run to Core CIC or so I thought! I will do a better job next time ensuring everyone knew the way to go! But good to rack up a few more minutes running!
Arriving at the centre splitting into 3 predetermined groups Varnishers, Painters and lifters and cracking on!!
Varnishers got brushing onto the downstairs wooden frame with a fine honey glaze varnish. Working together to ensure that no panel was left behind and no varnish was dripping down.
The shifters had a tough job, moving 50 wooden boards out of the storage room and replacing them with massive, heavy air conditioners! Not to mention moving them up stairs!!
The painters rolled always painting low and high through the main hall upstairs keeping a great rhythm and pace throughout the session coving a staggering amount of wall space!
45 minutes went in a flash!! We split up into Speedy and Sexy Groups for the 3k run back to base! A strong effort all the way back by everyone had us home swiftly!
A few stretches and we were done!!
Of to Mabley Green next week for some Tree Gardening action! Be great to have you along for the run!!
Good luck to everyone running Manchester marathon this weekend! Special shout Out to Hackney regular Ian for his battle with 26.2!!
Smooth Running
