As Storm Francis lashed the UK with 80mph gusts of wind seven hardy Goodgymmers met up at Sloane Court for part 3 of our big tidy up. We welcomed Susan and Thomas for their first Goodgym experience and we were all especially delighted to meet Thomas’s poodle Kerry, tucked up safely in his coat. Adorable!
The garden had been left to run wild during most of this year due to lockdown so this was our third visit in recent weeks to get things back to ship shape. Resident Tony explained the council only cut the grass and if it wasn’t for us doing everything else they would be swinging bare chested through the jungle!
Our jobs tonight included weeding the side path and back wall, giving a hawthorn tree a severe trim, emptying some planters of soil, and weeding a couple of beds.
Jobs done we set off home into the windy night.
