Six of us joined Ruth and her team this morning for our regular monthly task at The Haven.

Our main job was to help create a more defined pathway by clearing an area of large nettles and despite doubling up on gloves and gauntlets we still managed to get stung a few times - great work by Sara, Nathalie and Richard on this.

Meanwhile, Dora and Sophie were doing a wonderful job of clearing the weeds from one of the vegetable patches.

There was just time to barrow the waste down to the compost area and also lay some cardboard and very fragrant wood chip down to the newly cleared path before we said our goodbyes.

Great work team!
