** 13 Goodgymers ran rings around the clyde, took on a 2.5k run, and smashed the task for Friends of Tottenham Green**

shouts out to Anne and Anita who experienced GGH for the first time

Sarah and Caroline were first to arrive at HQ soon followed by some regulars and a very happy smiley Ellie who we’ve not seen for a while. Great to have you back on the team Ellie. Big shouts out to Anne and Anita who experienced GGH for the first time too. Some of you guys were rocking some great reflective jackets too btw.

Frog, rock and hop

Briefing commenced followed by a warm up that resembled leapfrog but with a twist. All warm and raring to go we set of in the opposite direction to the task as it’s a bit to close to HQ for us to head straight there so we headed around the block for a 2k run before reaching the task site at Tottenham Green. This week we were asked to litter pick an area of the green which also needed to be raked of leaves and wood chip before we could start digging up the ground in preparation for some bulbs to go in. Everyone split up and got stuck straight into their individual tasks.

12 bags of leaves and litter shifted

The task itself sounds easier than it was as the litter had to be separated from the leaves then the litter from the lives before lastly the wood chip was removed to enable digging out. Our little crew stormed through this in no time and once again did GoodGym proud. Laura was pretty damn chuffed at the 12 bags of leaves and litter shifted too.

fitness session

Our fitness session was off the wall – literally. It included an exercise inspired by Spiderman, wall sits and some upside down mountain climbers *eek. Everyone went all out for the fitness session and really pushed themselves and achieve what first seemed a little daunting. Well done guys.. I owe you a round of high fives BTW. After a quick sprint round to HQ and warm down we were done for the evening. It was social night so a few people headed over to Chicken Town for feeding.

Oh and shouts out to Caroline for some run report punspiration ;-)
