GROUP RUN - Helping at the Prince Philip Maritime Collections Centre!
Get fit and do good in Greenwich
Location
Woolwich CrossrailLondon
SE18 6EU
Date and time
18:45 - 20:30Hi everyone and welcome to GoodGym Greenwich!
We're a friendly and social group who combine running with volunteering in the local community. We meet every Wednesday to get active and do a physical task for charities and community organisations in the area.
The Task
This week we'll be doing something with the famous gilded panels we put back up last time we were at the Prince Philip Maritime Collections Centre. We might also get some gardening done. This cool centre is where artefacts are stored and conserved for the Royal Museums Greenwich - they call it the "hospital" for Greenwich objects!
The Run
The run will be about 2.5km each way. Everyone is welcome at any pace - we never leave anyone behind!
Where & When
This week we'll meet at 6.45pm for a 7pm start at Charlton House. We should be all wrapped up by 8.30pm. There will be space to leave bags at the Bugle Horn pub if needed.
What To Bring
Please bring some gloves and a headtorch if you have one, otherwise it's just yourself!
See you then!

New to GoodGym?
This is a GoodGym group run, where we run to help a local community organisation and then run back.
New GoodGymers are welcome to GoodGym group runs - no one gets left behind. You're unlikely to be alone, hundreds of new people sign up every week.
