More Trees BANESIn February 2022 More Trees BANES planted 1,300 trees in the fields behind Purlewent Drive creating a completely new area of woodland within Weston, Bath.
On Saturday 10th February, More Trees BANES will be revisiting the site to check up on the trees. During this session, you will focus on mulching and protecting the young trees.
No prior experience is required. The team will provide guidance, tools, and support throughout the activity. Please wear sturdy footwear and appropriate clothing, and if you have them bring your own gardening gloves. They will have spare gloves if needed.
They will provide refreshments, tea, coffee, cake etc. Please bring your own water and any other supplies you might need.
To make your way on foot, in between Nos 100 and 98 on Purlewent Drive, there is a small alley/track which leads you up onto the Cotswold Way. Follow the track into the field through a kissing-gate and uphill for about 3-minute walk. You will hopefully see a group of people in the field.
How are you getting there?
