Find out about GoodGym TaskForce
It was pretty cold tonight. I'll be honest, I wouldn't have blamed any of you for staying inside. I'm really glad you didn't though. A special welcome to Holly, Rachel and Max who came to their first run tonight. It was lovely to meet you and we hope to see you again soon.
Also a big shout out to Robbie, who went and helped Faith at the food bank this week with the crates... As well as a coach visit and coming tonight. Hero.
So, After a cancelled task, John at The Portico was more than happy to have us help him, so it was a familiar 2.5m run up Brixton Hill to West Norwood. That hill kept everyone toasty. James took charge and made everyone do squats, Hunter lead the pace, Robbie made sure no one got lost and Tom made sure everyone was kept occupied and informed about up coming races.
John from The Portico made sure everyone got to meet the Portico cat, whilst also making sure they kept a good eye on quality control of the tables.
Luckily we also had a few sick, tired or injured runners who were happy to skip the run and stay at Papa's to give it a lick of paint, which they did magnificently and finished in record time while Jackie, Jay and I took to the streets and handed out flyers to spread the word on GoodGym.
A lot of miles run and a lot of good done, nice work Lambeth.
See you next week x
